三清殿

The 'San ching dian' is the biggest taoist Temple in South East Asia,located in krokop.miri,sarawak.The temple was build according to the traditional taoist style.Elegance and beutiful...there were carvings all around the temple,the walls around is a dragon design.some local artist even making music videos using the temple as a background.all are welcome to visit the temple.

大伯公庙

The 'Tua pek kong' temple is historic side of miri.it was build by the chinese when the chinese first came to this land,and it was about 100 years old!when the japanese invade miri,sarawak.the building around it was bomb into pieces by the japanese bommer.only this temple was not affected!amazing eh?this temple now become a place for worship chinese gods and goddess among the people in miri.

Children's pool

Miri people can be considered themself to be very lucky to had many public facilities in miri,this picture show a children pool in Taman Awam Miri.this is one of the park in miri,the park has a artificial waterfall,gardens,suspention bridges,children playground,observation platform,place for babercue...and others facilities...the good things is the park is free to use.and there is securities around to keep the place safe for publics.i hope you like miri as i do...

Vespa

Today,when i was going to the local fresh market for the ingrediant of tonight's dinner.something shiny and red caught my attention.It is a Vespa in red colour.it is very well maintained,and looks almost like a new one.i am fan of these italian stylish little scooter,i am very impressed by scooter.its owner must have taken a very good care of it,it is not dirty and all parts are look new to me.i wonder where its owner gets its spareparts...because these old model bike is very rare in miri now days.The Yamaha's and Honda's had taken most place in miri market.you need a very good luck to see one of these scooter,especially a very well maintained one.i still remember,my auntie used to had one of these scooter.if i was not mistaken,from its days till today.its been nearly 50 years,and it is fully imported from italy.50 years and still service its owner.i must say,it is a high quality product.i hope you like Vespa too,because it is like a piece of art.

The forgotten sky

the big blue sky above our head is often forgotten by us...i didnt realized the sky above is so beutiful before i took this picture.i took this picture at the Piasau boat club in miri.i laid down on one of the facilities at watched the sky,i noticed it was so beatiful.blue in colour and the cloud seems so soft...i like this picture very much,so i post it out.hope you will like it....

Seahorse

Seahorse is the mascot of miri city,miri is famous for its reef and world class standard diving sites.Miri reef is filled with coral and sea creatures.Seahorse is one of them...Seahorse is also the mascot for miri city,this seahorse statue is located at Marina bay of miri.facing the south china sea,it is the largest mascot statue in sarawak.
